Whatever you do, don’t give away your old skirt! Clever Janet created a Skirt Upcycle you don’t want to miss. Her blog, Janet of All Trades is a delight. Trust me, just go!

How cool is this? Madigan @ Madigan Made took 10 years of her husbands tickets and made this treasure. I have a sentimental son who would love this too. Her post Turning Sporting Event Tickets Into Framed “Art” is a terrific gift idea for anyone on your list.

Not just another framed project, all Gail needs for this one is food coloring, card stock, and a paper shredder. At can’t stop making things, her framed Paper Weave is a sophisticated one of a kind creation. All that’s left for Gail to do is sign and number it!

Oh, goodness! Amazing applique and striking contrast are enhanced by beautiful quilting in Esther’s Cherry Thieves Table Runner. She is an astounding quilter. I enjoyed my visit to Ester’s Blog.
Have an inspired weekend all!

Wow…I LOVE the “Book of Thanks” idea, and am going to dig out an unused blank scrapbook that I have packed away to create one for my family. What a wonderful idea! And the skirt-to-scarf re-purpose is just brilliant! I have a dress that I loved tucked away in the back of my closet — I haven’t been able make myself get rid of it, but I haven’t fit into it since college. I think that this would be a great way to give it another life. Thank you for sharing these great finds!

The table runner is fabulous! What an amazing job! Such a great accomplishment. And I love the idea of a book of thanks and the ticket collage. My son would love to get one of those. Thanks for sharing on We did it Wednesday @ Sew Much Ado. I found you there.
