Meat Loaf Cakes
- CAKES
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- ¼ cup onion, coarsely chopped, (I used 1 medium yellow onion)
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup bread crumbs, (I used old fashioned oats)
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- SAUCE
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, (my addition, not in Ann's)
- ½ cup brown sugar, (I used Splenda brown sugar blend)
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- ¼ teaspoon allspice
- Preheat oven to 350?F.
- Mix ingredients all ingredients for cakes.
- Shape into little cakes.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Mix together sauce ingredients and spoon on top of cakes.
- Continue baking 30 more minutes.
- Remove from pans and let rest 10 minutes before serving
