Melt in Your Mouth Marshmallow Brownies
- 1 cup butter, 2 sticks
- 5-1/2 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- ½ cup butter, 1 stick
- 2 Tablespoons dark cocoa
- ¼ cup milk
- 3-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Preheat the oven to 350?F.
- Grease and flour a 9X13-inch pan.
- In a medium saucepan melt together the butter and cocoa. Cool slightly.
- Mix flour and sugar together.
- Add the chocolate mixture to the flour and sugar mixture.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one till batter is smooth.
- Fold in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Do not overbake. Brownies can be slightly sticky to the touch.
- In a saucepan combine the butter, cocoa, and milk. Heat to boiling while stirring.
- Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla is smooth.
- Turn on your broiler.
- Sprinkle mini-marshmallows over the baked brownies.
- Pour hot frosting over marshmallows and spread to cover completely.
- Place brownies under the broiler and watch carefully. When frosting is bubbly and marshmallows are puffed up, remove from broiler.
- With a flat spatula swirl frosting and marshmallows together.
- Place pan in freezer for about 20 minutes to cool and set up.
