My Three Boys Salsa is awesome! It's easy to make it up with all the ingredients I keep on hand. Plan on serving it at all of your parties, and for my guys football games and to throw on everything.
Recipe type: Sauce
Cuisine: Mexican
  • 1 (28 oz. can) whole tomatoes with juice
  • 2 (10 oz. cans) (Rotel brand) diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • ¼ c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 whole jalapeno chili, sliced thin
  • ¼ tsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 bunch cilantro, cut off tough stems
  • juice of 1 whole lime
  1. Combine whole tomatoes, Rotel, onions, jalapeno, garlic, sugar, salt, lime juice and cilantro in your food processor or blender.
  2. Pulse or blend until you've reached the chunkiness you like.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings.
  4. Let the flavors blend for an hour.
  5. This will keep for a week or two, but only if my boys aren't around!.
