Gobble, Gobble, Gobble…..<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Now please g<\/span>rab your favorite spoon everybody.\u00a0\u00a0 It’s time to celebrate with Roasted Tomatillo Salsa!<\/span><\/p>\n I’m sure the rest of you are cooking cranberries plus<\/span> baking rolls and pies today as we always do. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>I on the other hand have<\/span><\/span> been thinking about one of my all time favorite Thanksgiving Days.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n It was<\/span> 50 years ago to be exact, when my baby brother, Todd was born.\u00a0 I was elated and enough older to help care for him.\u00a0 He’s always had a big place in my heart.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n He was a true gift to our family.\u00a0 Now he’s got 4 kids of his own and an adorable little granddaughter<\/span> and recently he’s become a gourmet cook. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>He <\/span>makes the best fresh tomatillo salsa you will ever taste.\u00a0 It’s tasty on chips, eggs, burritos, tacos, or just by the spoonful…ask my sister, Kim!<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Fire up<\/span> your broiler.\u00a0 Remove the paper husks from the tomatillos. Place on a silpat lined<\/a> sheet pan.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Cut the tomatillos in half along with the chilies, garlic and onion and put them under the broiler.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nRoasted Tomatillo Salsa<\/h2>\n
