{"id":598,"date":"2012-03-29T04:45:00","date_gmt":"2012-03-29T10:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/2012\/03\/29\/all-duck-ed-out-2\/"},"modified":"2015-11-13T09:53:58","modified_gmt":"2015-11-13T16:53:58","slug":"all-duck-ed-out-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/all-duck-ed-out-2\/","title":{"rendered":"All Ducked Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Introducing our Spring greeter&#8230;she&#8217;s All Ducked Out on our front door!<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Spring-duck-decor.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Spring-duck-decor-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Inspired by bright colors of Spring, I created a welcoming, watering can decoration.<\/p>\n<p>I found a <a class=\"easyazon-link\" data-cart=\"y\" data-cloak=\"y\" data-identifier=\"B00CMC6V7K\" data-locale=\"US\" data-localize=\"y\" data-popups=\"y\" data-tag=\"cheerykitch02-20\" href=\"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/product\/B00CMC6V7K\/US\/cheerykitch02-20\/?cart=y\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">2-gallon, oval shaped, galvanized watering can<\/a>.\u00a0 I used masking tape to cover the copper and sprayed the can with Rust-Oleum American Accents paint in natural rust.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a kit and I simply followed the directions.\u00a0 After two hours I pulled off the tape and glued some dry floral oasis to the inside of the can.\u00a0 I tucked a few silk Spring flowers inside and added a little duck and a blue bow to the handle.\u00a0 On the back of the can I ran a strip of non-skid drawer liner so it won&#8217;t scratch my door.<\/p>\n<p>It was a snap to make;\u00a0 mask, spray, fill and hang, on a wreath holder!<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Spring-Watering-Can-Door-Decor.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cheerykitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Spring-Watering-Can-Door-Decor-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Have you had a chance to get your front-door All Ducked Out yet this Spring?\u00a0 I&#8217;d love to hear about it.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><i><b>Thanks for hopping by friends!<\/b><\/i><\/div>\n<span class=\"et_bloom_bottom_trigger\"><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Introducing our Spring greeter...she's All Ducked Out on our front door!
