What is the one thing that brings families together no matter how inconvenient the time may be? \u00a0Food! \u00a0Sunday dinners, holidays, birthdays–you can always count on the family being together and everyone being hungry!<\/p>\n
I love family dinners and have created amazing memories during those times. \u00a0But I have one restriction: I have diabetes.<\/p>\n

It seems everyone knows someone who deals with sugar challenges, so go ahead, and make a Berry Low-Carb Trifle. \u00a0Yes, you can have your cake and eat it too!<\/p> <\/a><\/p> Here's all you do:<\/strong><\/em><\/p> Start with a sugar-free, (made with Splenda), fat-free, Angel Food Cake. I found these all over NYC and they are in my small Idaho town. Hopefully you can too. You can<\/i> also make one from scratch! \u00a0Mix up a large sugar-free, fat-free vanilla pudding mix with skim milk. \u00a0Whip 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with a little vanilla extract. \u00a0Combine the prepared pudding and the whipped cream.<\/p> <\/a>Slice and cube 1\/2 of your cake. \u00a0Toss it on top of pudding-cream mixture. \u00a0Add about 1 cup of fresh berries and then cover with another 1\/3 of the pudding mixture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>Berry Low-Carb Trifle<\/span><\/h2>\n
