It&#8217;s quick to throw together and forget in the freezer until you need it. I&#8217;ve served it at parties, taken it to potlucks, and been glad to have it ready when friends stop by.<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\"><span style=\"color: red; font-size: large;\"><b><i>Ice Cream Turtle Dessert<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>30 ice cream sandwiches<\/li>\n<li>1 (17 oz) jar butterscotch-caramel sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 (16 oz) whipped topping<\/li>\n<li>1-1\/2 cup peanuts, toasted<\/li>\n<li>whipped cream<\/li>\n<li>cherries or berries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\">Toast nuts in a 350 oven, stirring once for 5 to 10 minutes. Watch carefully so they don&#8217;t burn. Place 15 ice cream sandwiches in a 13X9&#8243; baking dish. Spread evenly with butterscotch-caramel sauce. Sprinkle 1 cup of toasted nuts on top and top with half of the whipped topping. Add another layer of ice cream sandwiches. Top with the remaining whipped topping. Cover well and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving. Before serving make hot fudge sauce.
