Got an extra rain gutter on hand? If not, you’ll want one like Jacqueline. She’s posted one of the best party desserts ever. You’ll love the how to and results posted at Purple Chocolat Home for this ingenious Pig’s Trough For a Crowd. I’m already planning to make it for an upcoming family reunion and getting ready for an uproar, including some snorting!

Recently I picked up some fabric on a whim! I just fell madly in love and had to have it. Looking for a perfect pattern, I was delighted to stumble on One More Mixtape Quilt at, Oh Fransson! by Elizabeth Hartman. Well designed, the pattern includes 3 different block sizes for 4″,6″ and 8″ squares, and 3 different layouts for a total of 9 quilt patterns in one! I have the fabric, and bought the 19 page PDF pattern (it’s awesome and I received it in 1 hour). I am excited to get started! Anybody want to quilt along?

Well, THANK you! You always say the nicest things, and now you have featured me. If I were in your neck of the woods, I would give you a (grizzly) bear hug. You know I’ll be showing off that button!

I am only familiar with one of the other blogs. This means that I get a chance to discover some new favorites.

You are so kind!!! I am so flattered that you chose my Pig’s Trough. You will love it for the family reunion. Some of the adults may be hesitant, I just tell them to find a spot and stick to it ( for the germaphobes). The kids have no problem. I feel dumb asking, but how do I “grab your button”.
