School’s out for the summer!

Have the kids started the “I’m bored” routine yet?

Well, have I got some great ways to combat that!

Here are the most AMAZING ideas for Kid’s Summer Activities from all around the web!

The best part: they are all things that can be done at home in your backyard.

What are we waiting for?!  Let’s get going!

Cheers! Kid’s Summer Activities

I have always wanted to learn how to make mini water blobs and here are they are.  You can make one HUGE blob for your kids to bounce around on or you can make them their own blobs!  I know my kids would be entertained for days with these fun blobs!

Even though it is summer my kids still love to learn.  This summer I found this Summer Science for Kids with tons of different fun science experiments that even I think are cool!

Water Balloon Baseball is an old favorite at my house but each year we try to add on another fun way to amp it up!  The  best part is that it almost always ends up in a water balloon fight for the whole family!  Nothing screams summer to me like a good old-fashioned water balloon fight!

I have been making Ice Cream in a Bag since I was a little girl so, of course, the tradition should continue!  I prefer plain old vanilla but my kids love to add chocolate or fruit to their bags of ice cream!

What a genius way for those dollar store squirt guns to get some use besides getting me wet!  The Squirt Gun Canvas Art is a fun way to spend a couple hours with the kids and then also hang it as a great memory of the summer.

I always have an extra pool noodle rolling around but I never thought of making a Pool Noodle Sprinkler!  It is instant fun for mere minutes of work!

My kids are going to have a blast with these ideas this summer.   But I am not done yet!  Click the button for MORE fun kid’s summer activities!

The kitchen is definitely my favorite place in any home. I love cooking but I also love how it brings people together. Although we lived in different cities growing up, I consider Sugar City, Idaho to be my hometown. Now, my husband and I live in Meridian, Idaho with our three not-so-little kids. My life is filled with good food, friends, and family—and it’s even better when I can find a great deal!

Kids don’t break up here till the 1st week of July so have plenty time yet to get organised, water ballon basball always goes down well, especially if it’s hot.

I’m looking forward to the day when we’ll have our own house with a nice little backyard so the kids can enjoy these outdoor activities. At the moment, we’ll try to make homemade ice cream instead! Looks so easy that I bet my 3 year old can help. It’s the start of the rainy season here in the Philippines though, so I guess we need to start making them soon!
