Is this adorable or what? Too bad the tutorial doesn’t include this living doll, but Stef at Girl. Inspired. suggests we, ” grab a T-shirt and some lace!” She shows us in two parts, Soft and Sweet Knit Pants, Part 1 and A Top to Top it Off, Part 2, how we can fashion a pattern and make our own sweet, petite, set, earning an A+ from me!

What better way to “celebrate the fruits of our labors” than to throw A Canning Party! Not up for it, just print some fabulous free recipe cards and labels. Busy Cameron at Cottage Industrialist invited Kristen of Paper Crave to guest post. You will be dreaming up your own party with invitations, envelope liners, jar tags, recipe cards, and circle labels. Visit both blogs…you’ll be glad you did.. I promise!

Button, button, who’s got the prettiest Button Headband at Sugar Bee -Craft Edition-? They are cute, cute, cute and congratulations to Mandy, who helped to teach these three little gals how to thread a needle and sew on a button with this ingenious project!
No one can tell me that a button headband doesn’t create a little sassy summer fun!

The “almost JOHNSONS” pose with their new A Johnson Family Quilt made with love by Tara, at Tara Being Tara. Delightful 1st grade friends, Tara and Ali share a lifelong friendship that will grow even stronger thanks to match-maker Tara! She envisions her gift being used for “cuddling and family picnics”…and it usually does happen in that order! Best wishes to the Johnsons and happy wedding all…

Be on the look-out for fantastic, old, finds. Patrice scored with her Yard Sale School Desk. She’s earned the right to brag about her $3.00 purchase at lemon tree creations. Apparently, the little girl at the big desk, (so enjoyable), is ready for a “Big Girl Bedroom,” and we can watch for future updates. How come I never find anything this terrific? I must not be trying hard enough, but admit it, luck is involved!
Have an inspired weekend all!
