Seek His Light

Seek His Light Quilt @singingwithbirds.com

Each Friday I feature my “Top 5 Hits,” and I almost always feature a beautiful quilt. Well, surprise friends, this one is mine! I used batik fabrics to create this scrappy basket quilt, set on point. I was visiting my mom who helped me select the fabrics and get it started. That will always be a fun memory for me.
It’s called, Seek His Light.”

I like the autumn colors, dark to light and the machine quilting.

Hope you like it too!  Here’s to more time to quilt in the months to come.  Thanks for your visit.

    Gnee,
Beautiful quilt. I love the Kaffe fabrics but my next favorite are the batiks!

Gnee — what an absolutely beautiful quilt — I love the center of it — the light. I love the name also! It is worth for your favorites on Friday. Joni

I’m impressed! I have neither the patience nor talent to embark on a quilt project, but I love them and think they are works of art. Yours is beautiful. I love the fabrics and colors. They give me the same feeling that I get looking at your Idaho pictures.

And I love the name you gave it!

Just as I opened your post today, I wondered to myself, I wonder if Gnee quilts. Well, I guess you do. This is really gorgeous. I love the fall colors too. Is this something you are going to wrap up in or display? What talent, and thanks for sharing with us your fabulous quilt.
