Cheers! Grilling Secrets

Cheers! Grilling Secrets

I LOVE to grill.

Even in the middle of winter I can be found bundled up in boots and a puffy jacket lighting the grill for dinner.

Since I love to grill here are some of my grilling secrets and a few of my newest favorite recipes.

Happy Grilling!

Cheers! Barbecue Secrets

There is nothing better than a Perfect Grilled Steak with Herb Butter.  Seriously, I would choose this over almost any other meal out there!

The best way to ensure perfect meat is ThermoPro LCD Digital Food Thermometer for BBQ Grill Oven Smoker Built-in Clock Timer with Stainless Steel Probe.  This is my favorite cooking tool to use for the grill and the ONLY way to guarantee that you don’t overcook or under-cook your meat.

Imagine a pile of these Grilled Shrimp with Roasted Garlic-Cilantro Sauce gracing your barbecue!  People will be talking for days!grill basket

When you are cooking fish or shrimp this Weber Original Stainless Steel Fish Basket is the best tool to make sure it doesn’t fall apart or fall through the grates.

I can eat a whole batch of these Grilled Mexican Street Corn by myself but it is way more fun to let everyone else in on this messy goodness!

Grilled corn on the cob is so easy to make with these Heat Resistant Silicone BBQ Grill Oven Gloves!  I have used these gloves almost every time I grill from checking the meat to turning the corn or anything else on the grill.  It is like an extension of my hands on the grill.

BUT I AM NOT FINISHED YET!!!

The kitchen is definitely my favorite place in any home. I love cooking but I also love how it brings people together. Although we lived in different cities growing up, I consider Sugar City, Idaho to be my hometown. Now, my husband and I live in Meridian, Idaho with our three not-so-little kids. My life is filled with good food, friends, and family—and it’s even better when I can find a great deal!

Now I am seeing the things needed for cooking too. It’s a process. Grilled food I love, but condo does now allow grilling. I suppose the beef steak with herb batter can be cooked on the pan?

I usually only grill chicken for kebabs but I should definitely become a little more adventurous especially with these tips. The temperature machine is a great idea we used to have one at work but one at home would be so useful too.

I’m not sure if I’ve told you before, but I am a reformed vegetarian / vegan so any tips relating to meat are absolutely cherished!

I’m still not sure If I would enjoy the steak, but those grilled shrimp, and chicken with tropical salsa look to die for! I can’t wait to try them!
This may seem like a silly question, but how do you use the Cedar Grilling Planks? Do you put them on top of the grill….. or…?

Keep up the amazing work! I’m really looking forward to your future posts and delicious goodies!

As usual, beautiful dishes coming out from your kitchen. We love grilled meat but only have them on weekends. Now, my mom bought an electric grill and i hope the taste would be the same as when we use charcoal.

I agree with you, there is nothing better than a steak perfectly cook to my licking. I find it astonishing though that some restaurants simply can’t cook steak and they make it rubbery and chewy. Even I can cook a better steak! 🙂

When I saw the grilled shrimp, I was like “OMG! Such torture!”. I’m allergic to seafood specially shrimps and crabs but I love them anyway. I still eat them and just prepare meds. LOL. So it really made me hungry when I saw the photo. huhu. Anyway, I love grilled food too but we do not have the tools you’ve mentioned. Will try to look for them here. Thanks!

Living on the south-central coastal bend of Texas, we grill year round. My husband can grill pretty much anything to perfection, in my opinion! Beef, pork, chicken, venison, turkey, goat, shrimp, oysters, fish, an array of vegetables – he’s grilled it all! YUM!
