A couple of weeks ago we bought half a box and have enjoyed every juicy bite. I did make one fantastic delight I’d love to share with you!
There’s a foodie fad out there. Have you heard of pie shakes, cupcake shakes, or cookie shakes? It’s an easy way to get rave reviews as a food designer…
If this is new to you, I’ll explain. To vanilla ice cream add any of the above; a 1/2 slice of pie or cheesecake, a cupcake, or crumbled cookies. I also added fresh peaches and it was perfection!
Peachy-Snickerdoodle Milk Shakes
are a divine reason to bake fresh snickerdoodle cookies, if you’d like one!
Along with the cookies, you’ll need vanilla ice cream, sliced fresh peaches, cinnamon, and a little milk, plus a blender.
Top with a chic swirl and twirl of whipped cream, a chunk of cookie and a slice of fresh peach, and serve with lots of love!
Peach Snickerdoodle Milk Shakes
2 yellow peaches, cut into wedges with skin (you may also use frozen peaches)
2 cups of vanilla ice cream (I used Blue Bunny, no added sugar)
a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
2 Tbsp. milk
2 crumbled snickerdoodle cookie, plus more for garnish
whipped cream
Blend the vanilla ice cream with milk and cinnamon. Add all but 2 small slices of peaches, along with the crumbled snickerdoodle cookies. Pulse two or three times, if you like chunks of cookie and fruit, or blend if you like it smooth. Pour into two tall glasses. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a chunk of cookie and small slice of peach.
Well sure miss the peaches, but I’m thinking an apple pie shake. It’s your turn, any ideas????? Thanks so much!
Renée is passionate about making and sharing ALL things delicious! Her happy place really is her kitchen where she loves whipping up memories with her family and friends. Raised in sunny Southern California she's spent her adulthood in Idaho, both sides of her great state. She's married to an amazing man, and together they have 5 children, who gave them five more, and now they have 28 grandchildren. So there’s always a reason to cook and celebrate around their place!

Oh. No. You. Didn’t.
Since snickerdoodles are my “specialty”, and peaches are a family favorite, this post is now making me lick the chops.
I’m trying to think of someone for whom I can make this for the selfish purpose of sneaking a sip.
