Best Guacamole Ever

I cannot even imagine how many times I’ve made vats of salsa and guacamole, and today I’m sharing the Best Guacamole Ever!
While living in New York City we enjoyed guacamole “made table side” for $15+ for two, using one avocado! Now that I know what it’s worth, I really enjoy whipping up a double batch for under five dollars! It’s so easy and always enjoyed and appreciated by our gang.
Okay, so you may be asking why it’s the best ever. I think it’s the perfect combo of flavors and it doesn’t have any mayonnaise or sour cream. I went to a party and was served a creamy guacamole and decided I didn’t like it, mine is the best guacamole ever!
All it needs are ripe, fresh, avocados, tomatoes, chiles, cilantro, and limes. Add salt and pepper, and keep it chunky. Don’t make it too smooth, that’s all. You’re going to love it!!!

What’s not to love here.. Being from California guacamole is not kind of staple here 🙂
Loved your recipe especially as you said “Add more garlic, jalapeno, onion, salt, lime juice, or cilantro .” yeah more the better it’s all great ingredients.
You are my kinda girl, enjoy!!!
I am making this tonight! I love guacamole, it’s my favorite because I don’t feel guilty eating it. I can’t wait, I have to run to the store now!
Is there anything worse than wanting to make guacamole really bad and find rock hard avocados at the store? Put them in a brown paper bag and close it up, and they will ripen up really fast!!!!
Guacamole is something I love to make and already knew how to make (I thought). Until reading this recipe. Now I have to try this out and compare it. So much to do in the kitchen here, every time I read your blog posts haha, I can’t keep up! <3 But this has to be tried asap. I love Mexican food and to make a guacamole is so easy and so tasty. Great post as usual!
Oh Sabine, we don’t mean to overwhelm you! Hang in there cause we love sharing with you and thanks for your kind comments.
I remember restaurants doing table side guacamole when I lived in CA. We loved it then and that was before I learned to cook, so I also thought guac was hard to make. All the same recipe looks yummy even if you aren’t beside my table making it. (Though you are welcome anytime)
You got it Annette, table-side at next year’s conference!!!!
I love avocados and guacamole. I like to keep my guacamole very simple with just avocados, salt. pepper and a bit of lemon juice.
I can’t imagine it without garlic, tomatoes, and cilantro and Alison would probably add bacon to hers as well!!!!
Yummy! This is pretty much how i like to make my guacamole as well. I love anything with avocado and guacamole is a favorite!
Well said Agnes, thanks!

This is such an easy recipe for making guacamole! And, $15 for a side, that’s way too steep, but that’s New York! I am trying this at home soon and Avocado is so creamy in itself that there’s no need for cream!
Yes, it is so much cheaper to make it yourself and really so much better, too!
Oh, I haven’t had a GOOD guacamole in a long time! I am going to try this recipe! It looks sooo good!
