I really loved sharing this road trip with you. I have never been to Idaho and these photos are making me want to visit sometime in autumn. Living on a prairie flatland I really appreciate the beauty of mountains. The photo of the mountains reflected in the lake is my favorite – just spectactular!
I have so many fond memories of Redfish Lake! My family would get together there and go camping for a week! Such a wonderful and makes me so nostalgic! Great pictures!

Gnee, your photography is beautiful and I too, have fond memories of camping at Red Fish Lake. I loved diving into that crystal clear water. There are few places on the planet where you get that kind of mountain scenery while sitting on a white sand beach, surrounded by pine trees and such clear water. It is cold there, but we used to camp in August, when it was a bit warmer. Then we liked to boat across the other side, when you are right at the base of that Sawtooth mountain! The hikes are superb on that side, and you can go up to some more glacier lakes in just a few miles. Anyway, it makes me want to return. Thanks for bringing back the memories. 🙂
Very pretty! Great shots!
